When business is booming… but money still feels tight

Hi friends,

Normally, on Mondays you get my three-card weekly tarot spread - a little energetic roadmap for the week ahead.

But this week, I felt called to change things up. Last week I picked up a new deck that I thought would be perfect for my ADHD Focus Group, and the message that came through today felt almost too aligned, so I'm sharing it with you ;)

Also… a quick update! When I first started this little tarot side of my business, I figured a few people might opt in here and there, and I could keep everything under my main list with my marketing crew. But wow - we’re already at almost 1,000 of you, and this is only a few weeks old!

So, it’s time for a little separation (in the best way). Keep an eye out for an invite to youaremagic.ca coming soon - that’s where all the tarot, magic, and intuitive goodness will live. You’ll still have the option to stay on my main list if you want marketing tips, but I’ll be moving everyone over as soon as the new space is ready. ✨

All that being said… instead of a full spread this week, we’re slowing things down and tuning into one card - something you can really sit with.

The card that came forward?

Second House - Business Finances.

And honestly, it couldn’t have been more on point.

Even though leads are flowing and business is thriving, the behind-the-scenes truth is that I’ve been struggling to manage the financial side. ADHD makes the unsexy tasks - like spreadsheets, budgets, and tracking expenses - the first things I tend to avoid.

My husband and I finally sat down last night to face it. We talked about how high the cost of living has become, how our income looks great on paper but somehow never feels like enough, and how we want to create a plan that lets us actually enjoy the money we make instead of constantly playing catch-up.

So we got creative.

We separated personal and business debt, and then I decided to try something new: $50 mini car details - a wash, interior vacuum, and wipe-down. Someone booked the very first one. My son’s already pumped to help.

I'm telling you this because what might seem totally random or outside of the box might just be the thing that moves the needle for you. There’s no shame in being resourceful, in starting small, or in letting go of what things “should” look like.

Because the Second House isn’t just about money...

it’s about self-worth, stability, and honouring your values through action.
