Facebook Group or Facebook Page – which should your small business choose?Today we want to talk about Facebook Groups! Are they good? Are they bad? Are they a complete and utter waste of time?
We quite often get asked why a Facebook Group over a Facebook Page? Should I do one or the other for my business or both?The answer varies depending on your unique target market and how they interact with peers online. Your page and your group have different purposes.
The biggest difference between the two is that a page can run ads (boosted posts or advertisements that you can target to specific people). Groups do not have this ability.
However, when it comes to engagement, Groups have a significant advantage. Think of your group as a place where your clients/customers come together as a community. This doesn’t make sense in all businesses or industries but is has been a proven strategy to convert more social media activity to customer and leads in recent years.
