EDS Team Journal BrittanyBrittany: Owner

Question: What was a challenge you have had to overcome recently?

Answer: The biggest challenge I have had to overcome recently (as it relates to business, because I’ve had some personal ones lately…) was the decision to shift gears in terms of our service offerings. I’ve avoided ‘teaching’ for almost 6 years and I know that to serve more customers that aren’t yet ready for a done-for-you service that the courses I am creating are incredibly valuable. The challenge was both shifting my mindset to why this was/is needed and also to commit to spending time to create the course content.

EDS Team Journal SherileeSherilee: Operations Manager

Question:What was a challenge you have had to overcome recently?

Answer: Working from the road on a family road trip. Hotel wifi isn’t always decent, working in the dark so as not to wake anyone and timing was a bit tough with dead zones in the middle of nowhere, but we figured out how to make it work!

EDS Team Journal ErinErin: Social Media Manager

Question: What was a challenge you have had to overcome recently?

Answer: Getting myself outdoors despite the terrible weather ☔️

EDS Team Journal Hallie Ann

Hallie Ann: Blogger, Social Media Manager

Question: What was a challenge you have had to overcome recently?

Answer: Applying for Canadian Permanent Residency and extending my permit to stay in Canada. The process was incredibly bureaucratic, confusing, redundant and grueling. Getting it submitted was a huge relief. It will take a minimum of 14 months for my application to be processed—but hopefully everything will go well, my application will be approved, and I won’t get deported. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

EDS Team Journal KendraKendra: Marketing Assistant

Question: What was a challenge you have had to overcome recently?

Answer: Adjusting to the differences to living in Budapest, living with roommates, and missing my family.

What adventures are coming up next week?

We feel some announcements coming on… 😉
