Well hello there!
This is the first official entry in the EDS team journal, and we’re only 6 years in… not bad right? haha! We’ve noticed over the years that people seem to be more interested in the content we share that is more personal and ‘behind the scenes’ if you will, so this is for you! Each week we will be sharing info about our team and families so you can really ‘get to know’ EDS a whole lot better. We truly believe that people relate to brands and companies better when there is a personal touch, and this is just one of the things we want to do in order to create that community. We hope you will enjoy coming along with us on this journey. -Cheers!
A lot happened this week! What else is new right? Kendra officially kicked things off with the team after a couple weeks of training, and as overwhelmed as we’re sure she is on the inside, she’s knocking it out of the park with strategy documents for our newest non-profit client and has been working diligently on the EDS social media channels as well. On the team front, Sherilee has also come back to work a little bit more now that her little one ‘lets her’ – just kidding, none of our kids let us do much of anything, but we try hah! The days of working with the two youngest kids together are long gone now that they are both in the toddler mayhem stage – eek! We seem to be able to wrangle one at a time, so it’s either Huxley OR Lily plus work – oh good times. On the financial front, we’re on track to hit our ‘revenue runway’ target monthly sales by the end of May – fingers crossed for us!
We love to celebrate both professional AND personal wins each week. It makes us stronger as a team, and it keeps us motivated to keep moving on projects that can seem daunting. Taking time to appreciate even the little things that go fabulously well are what we’re all about over here. Keep reading if you want to see what each team member is celebrating this week!
