How to create a WINNING sales page!

I have a confession to make, and I used to be embarrassed about it, but not so much anymore.

I have made MORE SALES PAGES THAN I CAN COUNT for products and services that never saw the light of day.

I have made sales pages for courses that never sold.

I have made sales pages for memberships that never launched.

I have made sales pages for offers that I thought were almost too good to be true only to be let down by not selling even a single seat to an email list of more than 5000 people.

So you could say, I learned a thing or two about what makes a page actually convert, and I built myself a really thick skin about launching. In an upcoming newsletter I will also share with you the strategy I now use to pre-sell my products or courses using my email list as a testing ground before I even make them (avoiding that wasted creation time if no one wants the thing!)...

Ok, back to sales pages.

If you have an offer or a service that already converts organically (as in, without paid ads or a fancy sales page or funnel), then you've already won. Now you can craft a gorgeous sales page and start to test sending more traffic and you should see sales. Because if your audience wants what you have to offer, then your sales page becomes the thing that seals the deal and allows people to buy the thing.

But what about the untested offers?

What about the products or services that we want to launch but don't know if they will sell? They need sales pages too!

What I want to share with you today is that you don't have to overcomplicate your sales page (or your entire website for that matter). Your sales page only needs to give people all of the information they need to make a buying decision, nothing less, nothing more. Simplicity is your friend!

Can you have a really long, expert copy written, Picasso art masterpiece online? Absolutely you can. But do you need that right away? No sir you don't!

What you need is a simple page that outlines what it is that you offer and what benefits it brings to your potential clients. Sprinkle in some social proof, maybe a fancy mock-up or two, clear call-to-action (aka buy now) buttons, and poof!
